Stevenage employees to benefit from company’s cost of living support package

Employees at the Stevenage branch of Grant & Stone are to benefit from a comprehensive financial support package to provide help during the current challenging times.

The Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG) – which includes Grant & Stone – are providing employees with a one-off winter payment of £500 in January to help with the rising cost of living.

In addition, through IBMG’s perks package, Grant & Stone employees will receive discounts on a range of essentials, such as groceries, clothing, mobile phones, household bills and insurance.

The group has also launched an employee purchase scheme, which provides discounts on a variety of energy saving products, such as insulation and draught proofing, helping staff to manage rising energy costs.

Peter Cudd, Group Managing Director, commented:

“We fully recognise that we would not be one of the leading construction industry merchants in the region without the hard work of our highly dedicated team, so it’s important for us to be able to provide this support. The initiatives are to assist our employees and their families during these extraordinary times and to help safeguard them against future increases in the cost of living.”
