Stansted Airport: Jet2 relaunch Twilight check-in service so you can drop off your bags the evening before your flight

Airline Jet2 has relaunched its ‘Twilight Check-in’ service, which allows passengers to drop their bags off at the airport between 3pm and 8pm on the day before their morning flight.

This means that when travellers arrive at the airport, their luggage is already sorted and they do not have to go through the hassle of checking in their bags in a rush. It is a convenient option if you live near the airport or are staying in a hotel nearby.

One of the UK departure airports included in the scheme is London Stansted Airport, just a short drive away from parts of Hertfordshire such as Bishop’s Stortford. Other airports included are Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle.

You should still check in online at least 24 hours before your flight. After that, you can drop your bags at the airport between 3pm and 8pm. On the morning of your flight, you will bypass check-in and head straight to security.

It is important to check all travel requirements before you go to the airport and take along all documents for your party so you can check in smoothly. But after that, you can settle down on your flight and get ready for take off and your holiday!
