Borehamwood is set for a brand new Anytime Fitness health club that will open next month. The new gym will open its door in mid-August within the Borehamwood Shopping Park.
The locally owned club will provide the local community with an inclusive 24-hour health club to support their health goals after being previously occupied by Frankie & Benny’s. It will come packed with “state-of-the-art” equipment including fully connected cardio equipment with streaming services Netflix and Spotify, a free weights area with dumbbells up to 50kg, functional training space and equipment as well as a dedicated area for group exercises classes.
A key goal of the gym is to embed itself within the local community and it has donated raffle prizes for a fundraiser for local youngster Ryley Keys, as they strive towards reaching their £100,000 fundraising target. Borehamwood’s Anytime Fitness general manager Eddie Sica is thrilled to soon welcome locals and wants to put “community at the heart” of the health club.

“We’re excited to be closing in on an opening date for the club,” he said. “I’m looking forward to putting community at the heart of our proposition and create an inclusive and welcoming environment that people of all fitness levels and experience can enjoy.
“As well as making our members feel welcome when we’re in the gym, we want to make sure they feel valued and supported outside of it too which we feel will really set us apart. I’ve begun employing some of our full-time staff ready for our opening and it’s been great that these jobs are going to highly motivated and talented people from Borehamwood and local areas.”
With the opening just weeks away, presale memberships are now available for Anytime Fitness Borehamwood, including some exclusive pre-opening offers for the local community. People can register their interest and sign up here now. Members of Anytime Fitness will also be able to access any of Anytime Fitness’ UK gyms as well as more than the 4,500 gyms worldwide through the ‘join one, join all’ policy.
